Writers from all over the U.S. and the world converge at the University of Iowa this weekend for the annual Iowa Young Writers' Studio.

The Magid Center for Undergraduate Writing will offer a new publishing track in the Undergraduate Certificate in Writing. The move is part of a partnership among the Nonfiction Writing Program, the School of Art and Art History, and the Center for the Book.

Some University of Iowa students will get the chance to interact and teach K-12 students in a new course called Writers in the Community. The Iowa Youth Writing Project and the Magid Center for Undergraduate Writing have joined to offer the brand-new course at the university.
