Madison Archard received her MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in 2019, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow. She holds a BA in Writing Seminars, with a speciality in poetry, from the Johns Hopkins University. During her years in Baltimore Madison was a member of the Baltimore Voices in Print Collective, a contributor to the Hopkins CinemAddicts, a reader for the Maryland Film Festival, and the recipient of an Arts Innovation Grant. She’s completed a poetry dissertation at the University of East Anglia, and spent time studying writing at Oxford University and Kenyon College. Most recently she has taught courses on cross-genre writing, and on writing as a response to violence.
